Frog in a well!!

late night yesterday, when the country was watching news of the terror attacks in Mumbai , life around our city was the usual or was it... I went home and after a long day at work just lay fast asleep to gear myself for another long day ahead. No clue of what had happened just 3 hours from my city. I woke up and was trying to sit and study for my exams - dooms day approaching!! Still no idea about what happened in the city which is just 3 hours drive from here. Morning was welcomed by the shouts from children in my apartment as it was declared holiday - shrieks of joy!! I sat wondering what could have happened? Switched on the FM but there was nothing there. Never even thought about the Internet. Called my neighbour gal but she had no clue and was fast asleep. Cursed me for waking her up so early. :( Back to trying to study. Then my friend called up and informed me but nothing got into my head as I was still in pre -exam-stupor - you know how students - those who never attended nor s...

I have always been awed by Sports people! Always wanted to imbibe their spirit into my life, the way they deal with things and life. They have a single goal of life - to WIN!! They have around a few minutes to a few hours and a single chance to prove themselves - during the match. There are no retakes - a mistake and it costs dearly. Still they are persistent pursue their goal - to WIN!. They play maybe at Olympics and unfortunately lose but strike back next Olympic again not just to participate but to Win!! They know how to be a teams player and can play for themselves too when need arises. When they practice, they devote their entire youth for the game. Dedicated and devoted to their game. They are the ones who know their weaknesses and strengths and builds hard on them and even keep their eyes and ears open for the opponents skill sets They are the real and true strategists who know how to act within the prescribed rules Even though they know the lifetime of a sports person is limit...

How often have you been through this: Just when your ideas seem so real and you're damn sure your perspective is correct, something happens that makes you doubt your conclusion. At times, too much analysis may not bring the answers you seek, on the contrary it proves to be a dead end. You may feel as if you took one step too far and there is just no retreat, for what's already done is done. There is no going back if you've already taken that first step. You know that life isn't a fairy tale, but you still sometimes wish it could be. You are excited by the new prospects and new changes in life. But you may suddenly feel the heat or the abruptness of intense change and want to take a step back. You put your heart and soul into something, but it just doesn't fit into the sequence of your life. What do you do with a song that doesn't fit in an album. You are left behind not by circumstances but by your own deed, can there be the wind to lift you up. The same wind th...

Queue - क्यूं

Serves Him right!!! I went to pay my bill. The counter opens at 10 AM. I reached there 7 minutes earlier and there was no sign of anyone. I waited next to the counter, and when there was just 2 minutes left to 10 AM, I wondered whether anyone would come or maybe they might delay. Scarcely had I finished thinking suddenly there was a commotion behind all the counters and people were taking their respective seats. A guy came to me and said excuse me, I moved aside and and and...he forwarded his bill at the counter. Man this guy just jumped the queue and went ahead. Duh!! I wanted to shout - Hello!! But words just didnt come out of my mouth and I kept wondering wow Not Bad...Its a good way to jump the queue. While I was doing this the lady behind the counter asked that man to wait for the change and took my bill instead. She got the change and pushed a bill out of the counter. This man stretched his hand to pick the bill but Ha Ha WooHooo!! It was mine!! The lady asked him to wait for 5 m...

18th TT

Its been long since I joined back...I was just flipping through something when my search hit this and I thought about choosing it as a subject for my TT . :) What a Lie!! Now which type of lie it is??? Sourced from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie Fabrication - A fabrication is a lie told when someone submits a statement as truth, without knowing for certain whether or not it actually is true. Although the statement may be possible or plausible, it is not based on fact. Rather, it is something made up, or it is a misrepresentation of the truth.Note: it is entirely possible (and common) for one to fabricate a lie and believe it.Examples of fabrication: "The dog ate my homework", or "I did unplug the iron". Bold-faced lie - A bold-faced (or barefaced, or boldfaced, or bald-faced) lie is one which is told when it is obvious to all concerned that it is a lie. For example, a child who has chocolate all around his mouth and denies that he has eaten any chocolate is a bold...
