Moments...

Yes I am back to cubicles :) So I have loads of corners and loads of different kinds of people...so its loads I can share... Listen to this - chap sits across...he is gonna go a looong way....excellent in manipulations....karma doesn't exist in this lifetime so do what you want....thats the funda of usual people and they go a loong way...lemme stop my fundas and talk about the boxed info.... he is an intern.....got a job in another city and is getting believe it or not 1.40 L as relocation bonus....so always on call....trying to figure out a place to stay....PG sharing and tells the other chap on the phone I am gonna pay from the day I enter the PG not a single day before....always on phone and has an extremely loud and annoying ring tone :( Had a first time ride in a sleeper bus....describes it as a train compartment....and goes blah blah...non stop!!! More to follow soon....BTW just realized me gonna miss him when he shifts out :P

Yup when your leave balance is in negative it doesnt hurt to make it a little more :P So thats what me did just bunked work and read books. Then went around pandal hopping. Its Ganesh festival time and so me peeked around the city looking at idols and on a week day everything is so empty :) It was fun. Next week me will be attending trainings and that means owl time :) I am really looking forward to it. Yes me not howling at all :) Isnt that a different me well coz it means day free and official WFH!!!! And psst the trainings are all recorded which I wont be using anyways as my project will change soon or maybe my role. That's my org and it always happen!!! Anyways me creating a new scrap book. Its a lot of hard work but I want to finish it in time for gifting. So off I go and engross myself.

I still am unaware about my role in the organization but I do something. I sat thru these meetings not understanding head and tail :( Cookies blah blah....SSO Logins.....re-authentication What I heard was cookies so I went ya ya chocolate chip cookies are YUM!!! And then I taste the chips and come back to be awakened by the discussion Citrix and then capability to have audio.... Citrix or citrus yes me have a mild cold time for me to grab some citrus fruits. And lemonade Yum Yum!! And then I hear the words Can you take the meeting notes?  And I could taste the rind of the lemon. YUK!!!!

Picture this analogy Project Manager = You are the Architect and you know how and what needs to be in the design to make it liveable so why cant you construct. Architect = Well me need to learn the art of building. Project Manager = Ok you start attending training So this is how me instead of writing requirements attended training to learn HTML, JavaScripting, CSS, YUI,Apache Velocity....PHEW!!! And to add to this the entire session was done in 2 days. Best was our trainer when we introduced ourselves he was like Ummmm Ah Actually I was told I had to do Basic but I never realised I am actually gonna teach to people who dont even understand difference between scripting and coding :D And the best - we dont have budget to make us do the work so the project scrapped :) It was all fun. Me got new tools Notepad++ and see what me did :D The tabs in my blog. Yippe!!!

I have heard this often and seen it at the place I work......but I never knew it was frequently constant.... Check this we created something for the Sales demo competitor info and viola a week passed between starting and ending.....our competitors have changed !!!!!!!

Ok it was the worst day and now thats done with I hope it doesnt come back :( At work - worst possible day.... I have no clue why this man still works here and he has to ensure that he ruins my day....God first thing he gives such vague responses so I try and put everything in emails and now I get such responses YUK and that too after ages and huge amount of follow ups :( And blasted he marks it to the world and then me have to sit and clarify people.....how am I supposed to know what he means - people dont wanna ask him for they say he doesn't explain well (but they dont say this directly but as usual the world out there wants to be politically correct!!!) And I have to live up with this. Everytime I try and bond with the team I take a step forward and they make me take 2 steps back :( My house is as messiest as it can be....it cannot go farther than this..... And to add to that the blogger wouldnt work for me yesterday and me was dying to vent out myself :( I had read...

I am happy that we had this and I went for this event. It made me understand the so called team:) I realized how teams work :) What people say behind backs and how they change - inspite of the goal that we have to work together people refused to do so :) Stubborn, inflexible, hard of hearing :) I liked it and now I know the pleasure of working from home :D I might miss out the gossip but the best part is I will not be the only one speaking out. If nothing good happens for me why should I make good for others :) Maybe after this exercise others also think the same about me. But as I would repeat judge me but keep the verdict to yourself. Same me gonna follow.

Never be irreplaceable, you will not be replaced nor be promoted Never trust anyone of your team they will help you till the time they feel you are of any help to their career....thats it and u r forgotten well just not that they might even lie to get you down Always have a backup plan and thats you work :) Either make yourself politically  correct or look for another company When everything fails then change the org. Always have some friends in different orgs so that you can put a word around when you need another job.

me have to start this.....its so interesting to eavesdrop :) This guy gets a call from his wifey who asks what to cook....he says what shd I tell u take care of that.....btw what veggie are u cooking....she says making this ok make then....and u know this tastes well with this.....and he went on and on and he narrated her he entire menu :D that included starters to the desserts and then after keeping the call down he exclaims that will keep her occupied for 2 hours I will finish this work then go and have a treat :D The other guys wifey calls and asks what to get....I guess its the cake's flavor....so he goes I want the strawberry ones...and then says I need to take another call and then ....he goes in the call no no u need to submit the tutorials by an hour....and then speaks to his wife and says ok get the mixed one also....ha ha Me feeling hungry now....:D

God me have to start working or else me will be in a big soup.....should be saying pile of mud!!!! I have to handover my projects to someone else and Psst me havent even started but my status shows 55% :( God now night oils have to be burned to get this thing done :( So now no play no FB games first finish the project :( 3rd degree torture I say Kya kya karna padtha hain is paapi peth ke liye :( So madam get back to work and earn your salary and not be just paid.....

Yippee yes.....even if my company and my counterparts doesnt realise this....the vendor company has :D I investigate new technologies mLearning :D and me part of this great team (bas naam se great) Innovations Team Conceptions and Implementation group :D wah me never knew likhne mein kitna aacha lagtha hain Anyways whatever....so I speak to this loads of vendor companies who offer software / tools so that we can find what our company can buy and use and during this I figured a way to use our existing tools to create the same output without any specialized knowledge :) But back here no one actually feels I did something great.....people in my production team feels I am idiot as I am not looking into Flash.....Blah Blah....Now why cant they open their eyes and see Flash is going to change as html5 is coming in....so the video I developed can be later on streamed using html5 and we can integrate with our LMS and make it trackable too :D .....but forget them and forget the techno slang...

Yes me all worked up…..I am not sure why but I am a job hopper – I have changed as many companies as my years of experience. During interviewers I vouch on that job hopping has been a good approach but deep inside I know its been more damaging. I am not sure why this happens. But I haven’t been a year here and I want to move out yet again and then suddenly I realize that no one wants me coz of my past :( It was all fine since I took up that job and the company shut down and then my downhill has started. I joined this big name with so many hopes and all and suddenly I found myself working there but no appraisals being done – reason I wasn’t put on one project, I worked in many projects and they said I did a good job but they cant give me promotion or hike as no appraisal done. I know its said – Karm Karo phal ki chinta mat karo” but I am not one of them. And now here I will be completing my year in about 3 months, I am already worked up :( And most of the folks who joined with me ha...

dragged myself to work....well literally as my foot is still not suited for up and running....anyways me had to coax myself....hey u can listen to Gossips abt urself....but how will I take frequent trips to the cafe and the pantry ....didnt think abt this....:( yesterday was also boring sitting at my desk :( So here me @ work with no trips to Pantry / Cafe :( till now might take 1 after sometime....thinking it would be convenient to work from home :)

How come suddenly thankful....when over this weekend I had the carpenters working at my place. Those guys spent about a good 5 hours fixing the door and that involved being cooped up in the small bathroom first scrapping the paint and then sticking the PVC sheet. Although he did use the machinery but what to do about the paint dust...his mouth cover also didn't help :( Apart from that the glue that he used to stick was made from some resin and reeked. The smell brought tears in my eye and I was nicely tucked far away in my room with the window open...and what they all got for the labor was a meager 10 Rs for an hour. I gave him a tip of 50 Rs and his face beamed as if he has been showered with blessings :) Then I realized how fortunate I am to be working in this nice office away from all the hardships. Ok so maybe I will be working in this state for a while before I get back to my bickering :) Oh god has someone switched the AC in here...ok folks see ya later.

Yup me ran away from the office left all meetings and calls and everything....simply drained off energy to do anything worthwhile and I needed a break and I simply took it..... Not sure whether its right or wrong but me simply did it. Have started a book once I am done maybe will post the review. Weekend is the target to complete it :)

Have you ever walked directly into a standing car....its not that easy as it sounds....you have to prepare for that: Take a deep breath, fill your mind with thoughts....go deeper and deeper into the meditative mode that you forget you are walking in the road - you should be deep in thought. The test for this is you cannot do the test described here. But still let me describe it - You should not feel any object which is like an inch away from ur face, you should stop when you actually hit the object - it can be a human or even a car. So I did just that an bumped into one standing at the parking lot. Don't ask me how I reached the parking lot from the footpath...meditative mode - don't worry me not a jay walker so car users may not beware....I did this in my society car park :) Well its actually not my fault the car has brakes and me don't and the car driver should have the theft alarm enabled....which he didn't. See!!

Yup thats how it is in here....cold winter mornings with just fog and believe it one cannot even see a few feet away - thats the thickness of the fog. Best is I haven't ventured out of my home since Tuesday. Its fun sitting amidst all quilt, propped against pillow and mom serves food even before I am able to finish the first one :) So all I do is sit in the warmth and work. :( Yeah for me its working holiday!!! Its odd hours at the moment early morns and late night but me planning to watch some movies today during  noon :) And weekends probably I wont be in my house :)

From tonight the Happy Holiday starts....most of the folks of my office left early, few finished their work and left by evening....and me as usual was the last one just because of 1 meeting....I don't know why it happens - but the 9:00PM call on Friday.....weekend and holiday day - 8 PM call :( Anyways its so quiet in here wondering if the office ever stays this quiet :) Happy Holidays to all!!!!
