It was so and so movie but it certainly had it good moments: Someone once told me that the power in all relationships lies with whoever cares less, and he was right. Ok this time me gonna pen down my trip so it started a day before....coz thats also important. Time I pack my suitcase to open and find that I am carrying 4 night pajamas...anyways let me forget it....I think I have enough to stay warm and go to office too :) Anyways me started my journey to the Airport. It was a strange thing that happened....a man just stood ahead of the car and the driver braked his way....and the mans life was just saved. I was too stunned and my driver was really shaken. He couldn't drive ahead for a long time. And I was wondering how can I thank and appreciate his efforts. And then there passed 2-3 cars which honked and waved. I thought probably they are wondering why our cab is going slow. But then I realized it was something different. Drivers were actually congratulating him for his good work. Balika Badhu : A Representative Anthology of Bengali Short Stories translated by Monish Ranjan Chatterjee. Although the translation is good but still if one could read the stories in Bengali it would have been perfect. Balika Badhu - The fairytale of youthful love by Bimal Kar was an interesting as good as the movie or maybe better :) Abhagir Swarga - Touched upon the caste differences and death of innocence...good one Mahesh - This one I had watched its televised version and also read - the story of the love for the bull which was stronger than ones hunger. Puin Mancha - This one touched upon the plight of girl child Tarini Majhi - Well this one was a real heart tugging story and the ending made me jump up. How can someone who loves someone dearly make their life take precedence over love :( Well maybe the logic is I am not alive then what will I do about love but me still trying to get over the story. Well I read back to back 2 books on adolescent love....it wasn't planned but it simply happened....it was simply like after a sumptuous meal one eats the refreshing sweet peppermint pan - the desi version of After Eight :) So I read this book Marcello's Date which is an Italian based love story between teenagers and the other was Balika Badhu which is Bengali book again on teenage love. Although the setting in both were world apart but the only thing in common was the emotions and the love :) The longing for the loved one - the innocence of love and all...:)
