Pursue your dreams

Last evening I heard about one of our old colleagues (whom I have never met or seen) but what I heard about her left a great impact on me. The concerned colleague used to work with us at a middle management level having quite a considerable years of experience. Last month she left the job and, to my amazement , she left the lucrative job (hopefully she too agrees ($$) with my opinion) and instead opted to pursue her long time dream to be a professional singer. Yeah true she left the IT industry and stepped into the world of her dreams. She has finally made her dream the reality and I guess must be happily living with it." It left me wondering can I ever do something like her or maybe even close to what she did? Hmmm ...Time to ponder!! But hey before answering that I need to first try and figure out whats my dream :-D. Watch this space to know more about my dreams. Just remembered this means me have to sleep more to dream and to sleep more me need more time at hand. Gosh why is th...

ePen is mighter than the Speech

I can talk and talk on IM (Internet Messenger), talk about anything and everything but when it comes to talking to someone live..... tongue tied. I know a lot of colleagues and chat with them for hours but when we bump into each other... each of us wave a Hi and walk away, we don't even pause to say Hello or ask How do you do? and then a minute later on chat we talk and talk. Its a common sight while walking past a workstation and you can spot folks laughing aloud, smiling or with a smirk maybe over some conversation or a over a joke shared over the IM . Thankfully the same sentiments wereshared by quite a few friends and colleagues of mine . This lead me thinking whether it's sad that we are being enslaved by the eSociety and slowly moving away from all social interactions? I really don't know the answer whether we are moving to the wrong or the right direction; but I feel like I have to open up and have personal interaction with people around me more often. And also c...

Pictures Say a Thousand Words but...

Image
I do agree with the adage but I couldnt stop my Big mouth to utter few things about the pictures: I really loved this picture - how ingeniously it shows the flight of the birds, the freedom, curbed by a simple line - the wire mesh we built to cage others and our freedom too. Freedom Curbed The next picture here also is another great work. (The cloth shown here that wipes sweat and the arms that causes fright and sweat). The same hands wipe tears which hauls weapons that are feared. Fears and Tears This is life or is it??? Hey people, if anyone pleases, go ahead and add words / captions. Your reactions to these images are welcome.

Stumbling stones and Stepping stones

Both are stones in the road of life but one acts as an impediment and the other acts as an advantage. The same stone may simply appear to be friendly from one side and hostile from the other and may appear different to each one of us too. When you hit one you enter a stagnant phase of the life...when nothing seems to be moving, everything at a standstill, life seems to be outgrown and becomes a vegetable as if leading a mechanical life!! When you hit the other, you enter the happening phase of the life...where everything seems to be flowing in a brisk pace, at times, too fast for you to be able to handle but very enjoyable. This is life!! You never know when or where you are going to hit either of the stones.

"JLT"

Seasons come and Seasons go but what stays is the seas and sons!! What a bad PJ!! Awful!!! Anyways, like what I was saying Seasons come and Seasons go...where they come and where they go thats none of our business. Another PJ bang on target!! I have certainly lost it for now. Let me try it the last time, Seasons come and Seasons go, unvieling the different shades of life; winters are cold but our homes are lit and hearts are warm, summers are hot but our homes are shaded and hearts are aglow; Rains are wet but homes keep us dry and the hearts are glee; Autumn are falls but homes are closed and the hearts in high; There comes the Spring and they take us out of the houses and brings us closer to the Mother - Nature. - our big home!! Hows thats!!! Bilkul Bakwaas!!!! See you too agree but its my post so I will post it and now that you have read it you have proved that you will read whatever I post!!

Its all because of Newton!!!

Yes my mobile phone, a sturdy piece from Nokia, bought way back in 2001, seems to drop all the time. And I don’t drop it; it simply falls be it in my bag, my hand, or the table…it just falls and the reason is simple the Gravity pulls it towards the Earth. This is not what I am using as an alibi, Uncle Isaac Newton proved it way back. Remember (of course I meant reading it somewhere and not watching him in reality) he was sitting under an apple tree and how the apple fell on his head and how came out the laws of gravity…. That Apple…that’s the reason why my iPod also falls and then the Laptop. No my Laptop is not from Apple but I have iTunes installed in, can’t help that half eaten apple seems to be doing all this and people blame me that I cannot take care of my things. Oh how much I hate the Apple!! The misery doesn’t end there….An Apple a day keeps the Doctor away…so apple out means Doctor in. That’s the reason why I have to take leave so often and nobody believes that its all ...

Welcoming New Year

An apt way to welcome the year leaving behind all that happened in the past... “Drop the last year into the silent limbo of the past. Let it go, for it was imperfect, and thank God that it can go.” - Brooks Atkinson Reflected by the poem from Dr. Harivanshrai Bachchan... Jeevan mein ek sitara tha Maana woh behad pyara tha Woh doob gaya to doob gaya Ambar ke aanan ko dekho Kitne iske tare toote Kitne iske pyare choote Par bolo toote taron par Kab ambar shok manata hai Jo beet gayi so baat gayi .... Jeewan mein tha who ek kusum The us pe nitya nyochawar tum Wo sookh gaya to sookh gaya Madhuwan ki chaati ko dekho Sookhi kitni iski kaliyan Jo murjhai phir kahan khili Par bolo sookhe phoolon pe Kab madhuvan shok manata hai ? Jo beet gayi so baat gayi .... Jeewan mein madhu ka pyala tha Tumne tan man de daala tha Woh toot gaya to toot gaya Madiralay ka aangan dekho Kitne pyaale hil jaate hain Gir mitti mein mil jate hain Jo girte hain kab uthte hain Par...
