Pass-ed out

:( Ok before leaving for the passport office I read some good reviews; I dont want to locate them at the moment but wanna share the worst case scenario with you guys.... Dunno where I went wrong...anyways it was a bad start of my day....firstly it took me ages to reach the place and then went around figuring out the building and the counters...finally stood in a queue to get a token, the person said that my form was incomplete I needed some notary form too God knows what all I had read about from the Website and got a confirmation from my brother as it mentioned that it was optional in case I don't have any proofs but anyways one needs all the documents....Annexure I and H and blah blah....and me not going to cover everything today....but folks please read the details and then go and take as many documents you can even if its optional...now me will shut my gyaan and come to the point Ok the highlights of my not-so-good-day were - as soon as I came out of the office searching fo...

Day Out!

Today was my treat day, meaning I was to be treated so I went out with my cousin to Def Col market to a place called Little Italy and viola when me and my cousin are together what happens....surprise!!! Guess....Guess Give up then Little Italy had closed down....ok luck wasnt on our side so what? So we went to next door place called Moets which had Mughlai, Orient, Italian and many more sections....the one which we took had to be Italian one...:) Nice decor ample room and so we sat to have our Italian cuisine...well I had my Garfield's fav dish and my cousin ordered for some Penne something....mine was good for a change for I relied on Garfiled after all...it was Lasagne :) So done we crossed to Barista as she had to conduct an iview...there again me started to as my usual boring the menu card....the funny part is me don't have coffee but was in a coffee shop and finally me ordered Chocolate shake with hazelnuts :) By the time I choose the drink and got it we had to leave...

Reminiscing the past....yet again

That's something which I can do the best....actually I can live in past or in future the present is the one where I have to be though.... Ok so I lived in fact relived the past....we entered a shop and it was like Deja vu....we had been there....yes I could recall it as vividly as if I was in the past even though my cousin didn't have the vaguest recollection :( We talked about our earlier days...when taking a cycle rickshaw to her place was a novelty and even though the traveling took half hour we had loads of time to visit each other and now we hardly get time to talk to each other :( even though we travel in AC cars with a driver at our disposal...such has become the life... I recalled the Rickshaw time and found myself excited yet again but this is the age of motors so had to forget it...or better lock it inside the tons of memories and relive the moments someday!!

Red Doors and A Fish Named Wanda

Okie I watched these 2 movies some ages back and I realised I never posted anything about them...so here me go... Red Doors is a cute movie of a dysfunctional Chinese family trying to get in terms with the American lifestyle. Its a story about a family - father just retired and suddenly finds that he cannot relate to the kids and the moments when he tries to commit suicide - the exchange between him and the psychiatrist is too good, mother trying to come to terms with eccentric husband, daughter wanting profession over marriage, lesbian daughter, and hip hop; and already told you about the 3 daughters. Good watch! A Fish Named Wanda is simply amazing, cracking movie .... A must watch, although its one of the heist movie but this one beats the rest...a must watch for all lovers of heist movies....

My Inspirational Piece - Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit -- Rest if you must, but don't quit. Life is strange with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a fellow turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow -- You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than It seems to a fair and faltering man, Often the struggler has given up When he might have captured the victor's cup, And he learned too late when night came down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out -- The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems afar, So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit...

Clouded Visions

I craned my neck to get a view of the stars and the moon...once again was dissapoointed as I couldnt spot any....Its been the same story for a past few weeks now....well the reason is the rainy season...the clouded sky :( I had read somewhere that India has awesome September clouds and many cloud lovers from far and wide visit to take pictures but that doesnt life my spirits...for reason unknown to me without spotting the magnificient celestial objects - stars and moon, I feel dejected! So all I have been subject to is just clouds and clouds of all colors, shapes an sizes....suddenly I had an enlightment yesterday :) I know its a BIG word but its acceptable to be used in my blog and by me :D....getting back to the subject and so I realised that sky is like my mind and its always clouded with thoughts - the clouds some grey, some dark, some bright....all sorts of thoughts which keeps me company - my inseperable companions. The different shapes of the clouds, the sizes, the colors ...

84 Charing Cross Road

This book from Helene Hanff was simply awesome. I loved this. It was a charming one. Reminds a lot of Dirk Bogarde's A Particular Friendship where there is an exchange of letters....but this one's too good. I seriously feel I can own a copy of the book :D A certain must read!

Unforseen Events

Loads of them are happening now....firstly people to my blog had to sign in to get it became open to restricted users :( I did change for my other blog but didn't know which settings to change and all and I found some more settings and suddenly changed settings for one blog and then the other to test and did loads of things and if you dont understand what I am talking or writing here....move ahead...silly me live in the idealistic world wherein everybody reads the blog Next my internet account was closed the reason was bill not paid and last day of my bill is on 1st of next month so how come my account got closed for lack of payment ....well the logic given was because I crossed my credit limit....ok thats fine but you guys add up to about 250 as taxes and other charges and all and after that bill reaches the credit limit and these taxes and bill me can pay till 1st of next month so how can one close my account....anyways I didnt ask too many of questions ....these guys knows ho...
