Chance encounters

Hope and love are the two things that lets you live and even takes away the life...strange it may sound...I had a chance encounters with a few people...
  • Married for a few years, the husband sat with a little child hoping that his wife will be out of danger and be back home soon.
  • Just married asthmatic wife sat waiting for her husband to come back home.
  • Married for 31 years...she sat there outside hoping her husband will improve get back his speech and come back home with her.
  • Parents of a 9 year old boy, the boy desperate to go home and the parents hoping they will take their loved ones back home.
  • Husband and wife sat hoping that their only son - 23 year old boy comes back to life and they take him home.
  • Married for 42 years had seen her husband as a retired colonel giving orders and there he was lying a decapitated man...there was no hope but she still wanted him to come back home.
  • An old man with son and daughter-in-law fighting for life hoping they would end their battle soon and come back home.
There are many more people and all of them bonded by a common string - hopeful that their loved ones will come back home. All of the loved ones went back home, few returned to the lap of mother nature and others returned to stay at home. But the process of waiting made them realise how much they loved each other and how much they loved their own life.
I was trying to analyse who loved more...whether it was the number of years you spend with someone or is it the relationship - mother - child...parent - child...children - parents...Were they bitter that their loved ones are betraying them...leaving them and going away for them to fend themselves alone or without them...or were they reliving the good times spent with each other.
Strangely life never stops....it goes on irrespective the loved ones coming in and going out of ones life...till the final home coming.
